Wound Healing Southern Africa
Abstract
Health care, as a universal issue, is at a cross-road. The United States is grappling with the introduction of new policies and structures to make basic health care accessible to the majority of the population. South Africa, along with many other countries, is facing the same problems and challenges. The root cause in all these scenarios is the ever increasing cost of health care services. As a result new solutions are constantly being sought, and amongst these solutions, an area that is becoming increasingly important is ambulatory medicine.
