Burn Wounds after Ozone Steam Bath Therapy

Abstract

To the Editor: I recently treated a patient with several burn wounds which he sustained after receiving ozone steam bath therapy at a wellness clinic. The patient attended the session in order to improve his overall health; the documentation also claimed that ozone therapy can reverse type 2 diabetes and lower blood glucose significantly. Several other claims were made in the documentation with regards to ozone steam therapy such as that it reverses autoimmune disorders, facilitates weight loss, helps the body to detox, and is successful in treating wounds such as burn wounds.
